On 8 Feb 18, 40NM SE of Sadah, Oman 2 blue hull skiffs with 7 POB approached an MV from Stbd side. Initially they stopped at the bow of the MT and then started approaching directly with high speed the vessel. MT started evasive maneuvers and PAST aboard alerted by firing 2 flares. Skiffs continued to approach the MT and then PAST showed their weapons and the skiffs passed from the stbd side to the port side and stopped. Closest distance 1000yds. The whole incident lasted 30m. Vessel and crew are safe.
