Description: It has been reported to UKMTO that MV WILA, Liberian flagged, Greek owned products tanker was boarded in position 2538N 05641E on 12 AUG 20 at 1323 UTC by Iranian Naval Forces.
The vessel was then reported to have returned to anchor in the Khor Fakkan anchorage. The vessel and crew are safe.
All vessels in the vicinity are to stay vigilant and to report any incidents to UKMTO.
VESSELS ARE ADVISED TO EXERCISE CAUTION WHEN TRANSITING THE AREA
