01 July 2019 – An MV reported a suspicious approach in Bab El Mandeb.

At 08:40 UTC on 01 July 2019 an MV in position 125180N 0431497E (Bab El Mandeb) was approached by 3 skiffs with up to 5 POB in each. Approached to within 0.1NM’s. AST showed weapons and skiffs departed.
The crew and vessel are SAFE.
