The chief of the Armed Forces of the Philippines-Public Affairs Office (AFP-PAO) said that the military leadership is confident that government troops can rescue German hostage Jurgen Kantner before his reported execution at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 26. Kantner, remains in the hands of suspected Abu Sayyaf bandits in a still undisclosed location in Mindanao.
