UKMTO has received a report of an incident 100NM east of Aden, Yemen.
The Master reports being followed by armed persons in multiple small craft for approximately 2 hours with shots being fired. The Master altered course towards the Yemeni coastline and the small craft subsequently left the vicinity. All crew are safe and well.
The vessel is proceeding to is next port of call.
Authorities are investigating.
Vessels are advised to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity to UKMTO.
