UKMTO has received a report of 2 Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) following a merchant vessel for approximately 30 minutes. The UAS were assessed to be at a height of 100m above the vessel and are now reported to have cleared the area. Vessel and crew are safe.
Authorities continue to investigate.
Vessels are advised to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity to UKMTO.
