A Vessel in Pos 05 28 27S 009 35 58E approx. 140NM West of Port POINTE-NOIRE, has Reported, That 3 Armed Persons have Boarded the Vessel. Crew are in the Citadel
UPDATE 01
A vessel in position: 05 29 35S 009 34 00E (approximately 140NM West of Pointe Noire) has reported being boarded by 5 armed persons who approached the vessel from 1 skiff. The crew are currently in the citadel. Incident is ongoing.
UPDATE 02
Vessel previously reported as boarded, MT MONJASA REFORMER (IMO: 9255878), remains unlocated and not transmitting on AIS. MDAT GOG requests Masters within the vicinity report any sighting of the vessel or suspicious activity. Vessel is a black hulled Tanker with a black funnel and orange logo.
Last known position is 052935S 0093400E (approximately 140NM West of Pointe Noire).
UPDATE 04
MT MONJASA REFORMER (IMO: 9255878) is reported as located (02°52 ?N- 006°59 ?E). Incident complete, Vessel safe.
Mariners are advised to exercise caution when transiting this area.
