On 24^th January 2018 at 09:00ZHrs, a merchant tanker was attacked near position 03°30N – 006°20E (South/50nm’s from Brass, NIGERIA). Navies on board merchant tanker repelled the attack. Vessels transiting the area are advised to exercise extreme caution.
