On 21th October 2017 early in the morning, a merchant vessel was attacked close to position psn 0335N 00700E (OFF Nigerian coast, Nigeria). The attack was conducted by 4 pirates on a speed boat with two engines. Vessel is SAFE. She resumed her route and is currently underway to exit the HRA. Mariners are advised to exercise caution in this area.
