MDAT GOG have received report that at 1300 UTC the 5th of March an MV is under attack in position 05°36,13 N – 002°20,38 E. The attackers are reported to have boarded the MV. Mariners are advised to exercise extreme caution in this area.

The attack is now over. The MV has been secured by Beninese Navy.
